Signal Restoration™

Your body is not a collection of symptoms. It is a signaling system.

Signal Restoration™ works to support healthier signaling across interconnected body systems through a repeating process of self-assessment, selective testing, interpretation, applied lifestyle practice, observation, and adjustment.

Interconnected systems

Your nervous system sets the conditions your hormones work under.

Hormone, immune, digestive, detoxification, energy, metabolic, and nervous-system patterns are interconnected. Midlife changes are not well represented by a collection of unrelated symptom pages.

The message is not that every symptom is hormonal. The message is that changing hormone signaling and accumulated stress can alter the conditions under which multiple systems communicate and adapt.

This is not information alone. It is a way of reading and responding to your own signals that stays with you as your body and life change.

The process

Read. Establish. Test. Correlate. Choose. Observe. Adjust.

  • 01Read the signal. We begin with the symptom story, history, current state, and lived experience, because data without context is incomplete.
  • 02Establish the state. A monthly nervous-system audit and simple observation establish where your physiology actually is right now, not where a protocol assumes it should be.
  • 03Test what warrants testing. Selective functional testing when a test is appropriate and interpretation is the value, never a kit for its own sake.
  • 04Correlate the findings. Laboratory information is placed in the context of symptoms, history, current therapies, sleep, nutrition, and nervous-system state.
  • 05Choose the appropriate lever. One of seven trainable levers is applied in sequence: what comes first, what should wait, and what requires medical oversight.
  • 06Observe and adjust. Response is observed over time and the plan recalibrates as symptoms, behaviors, and signals change. Then the cycle repeats.
Seven trainable levers

Every lever has an endocrine job.

FAST. EAT. MOVE. ASSESS. LIFT. EMOTIONAL REGULATION. SLEEP. Seven female physiological levers applied within the method, matched to your nervous-system state and season of life.

F
FAST
Uses timing and metabolic flexibility deliberately rather than assuming more fasting is always better. Application changes with reproductive season, nervous-system state, and current capacity.
E
EAT
Uses nourishment, protein, fiber, micronutrients, meal structure, and Eat for Your State principles to support signaling, appetite, recovery, and metabolic function.
M
MOVE
Uses movement as the other side of the glucose and insulin conversation and as a daily signal for circulation, energy, regulation, and function.
A
ASSESS
Builds hormone literacy through nervous-system audits, laboratory information, symptoms, lived experience, and n-of-1 observation rather than relying on assumptions.
L
LIFT
Builds and preserves muscle, strength, glucose disposal capacity, bone-supportive loading, confidence, and future physical independence.
E
EMOTIONAL REGULATION
Builds the ability to influence autonomic state, reduce the physiological cost of chronic pushing, and create conditions under which other levers can work.
S
SLEEP
Supports recovery, circadian rhythm, cognition, appetite regulation, resilience, and the body’s capacity to adapt to the other levers.
Inside the method
The monthly nervous-system audit, The Path Back Up the Ladder, The OM Practice, and Eat for Your State are the working tools inside programs. Learn, practice, observe, adjust, repeat, build momentum.
The outcome

Supported autonomy, not dependence.

The goal is not permanent dependence on Sheila. A woman becomes increasingly capable of reading signals, understanding context, choosing appropriate levers, recognizing when medical care is needed, asking better questions, and adapting as her body and life change.

Scope. Sheila complements medical care. She does not diagnose disease, prescribe medication, or replace licensed medical evaluation. When a finding may warrant referral or medical evaluation, she says so and helps you take the right questions to your physician.

Your next intelligent decision

You do not need to know the whole path. You need to know where to begin.
